If you haven’t heard a Brazilian Tapir, you would think you had heard a bird! Read carefully to find out more! The Brazilian Tapir lives in the coolest places like Brazil which I bet is no surprise! The Brazilian Tapir lives in climates of 27.4 degrees Celsius! Whew that would be hot! You won’t believe this but the Brazilian tapir lives in dense forest! |

Living in Southeast Ohio, I've always had the wonderful privilege of seeing the seasons change. I dearly love the magnificent oranges, yellows and reds of fall. Normally, I have several weeks to drive around or even look at the hillsides in my own neighborhood and admire the awesome beauty of the maple, oak and sweet gum trees.

I thought this was very interesting, maybe you will too. History 1940s Forrest Mars, Sr., founder of the Mars Company, got the idea for the confection in the 1930s during the Spanish Civil War when he saw soldiers eating Smarties, a chocolate morsel covered with a hard sugar shell so that the chocolate would not melt. |

On May 15, 2008, activist judges on the California Supreme Court overturned a law banning same-sex marriage which they deemed unconstitutional. That decision created an uproar from coast-to-coast and there was a lot of talk about those judges and their decision to go against the majority of voters. Of course, it is a majority of voters who elect our officials all the way from small town mayors to the President of the United States. While most people don't pay it any heed, judges are also on the ballots. Which judge we elect is a very important decision, more so even than which Senator, mainly because the judge has a very specific job. After elected by the majority, the judge must protect the minority. Without the court system, no one is safe from the tyranny and oppression often directed at those of few numbers. |
